Poppy Seed Players

The Kaufman Center's professional theater troupe in residence, the Poppy Seed Players create and perform wonderful musical theater about Jewish and American culture for children and their families.

The Players have created a wide range of musical theater based on stories and Jewish holidays, folklore and history and also conduct in-school residencies, where they help children create their own musical theater works.

Poppy Seed Players productions often include the Kaufman Kids––a chorus of children––in many of their Merkin Concert Hall performances. Any student registered in the Lucy Moses School is eligible to join. Contact Sean Hartley at 212-501-3366 for a rehearsal schedule.
