Private Lessons

Private music lessons are the best way to develop your skills, whether you are a beginning, intermediate or advanced student. Studying one-on-one provides you with the individual attention of a master teacher who is supportive and motivating.

Young People's and Adult Division Coordinators consult with students and parents to ensure they are matched with the teacher best suited to their skill level, interest, goals and schedule.

Weekly private lessons are offered in both instrumental and voice instruction and are scheduled for 30, 45 or 60 minutes at a time. Children register for 30-weeks of lessons from September to June and are eligible to enroll in our Music Certificate Program. Adults register for 7 or 14 weeks of lessons at a time and registration is open year-round.

Students enrolled in private lessons are welcome to perform in studio recitals and other public concerts in the Ann Goodman Recital Hall.

Lucy Moses School at Frank Sinatra High School of the Arts - Queens Location

Lucy Moses School has opened an after school music program at Frank Sinatra High School for the Arts in Long Island City, Queens. Individual instruction is available on all instruments, including piano, strings and winds. This new exciting partnership was created to provide opportunities for excellent music education from our own instructors for Queens residents.

Lessons are held on Mondays from 3:30–7:00 pm. Frank Sinatra High School of the Arts is located at 30-20 Thomson Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101.
