Argento Chamber EnsembleThe great pianist Gil Kalish, Stony Brook Contemporary Chamber Players and the dynamic Argento Chamber Ensemble join us in celebration of Olivier Messiaen's 100th birthday featuring U.S. premieres of four of his leading protégés, including Pierre Boulez and Allain Gaussin. Kalish will be the featured soloist in Messiaen’s Oiseaux Exotiques. Leading composer Tristan Murail will perform his own concerto for ondes martinot and chamber orchestra, Les Courants de L'Espaces.
