Naming Opportunities

A name is a precious thing. The Kaufman Center currently offers you the following naming opportunities:

Dance Studios: $150,000

The Kaufman Center's dance studios, integral to the Lucy Moses School's community arts program, are spacious rooms equipped with hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. They are used for ballet and indoor gym classes, Dalcroze eurhythmics, the Summer Musical Theater Workshop, music lessons and more.

Your company's name will be featured on in-studio signage and referred to in class brochures and schedules.

East Elevator: $100,000

Newly renovated in 2002, the East Elevator features sophisticated stainless steel, glass and wood décor. This is a highly visible space, used daily by hundreds of students and parents from the Lucy Moses School and Special Music School.

Your company's name will be prominently featured on interior signage.

Merkin Hall Concert Series: $50,000-100,000

Acoustically one of the best halls in New York City, Merkin Concert Hall is where concertgoers can hear contemporary and classical music in an intimate, inviting setting. Donors of $50,000-100,000 are invited to name a Merkin Hall series of their choice.

Naming a concert series is the perfect opportunity to associate your company's name with widely-publicized concerts in the musical genre of your choice.

Endowed Faculty Chair: $50,000

An endowed faculty chair in your name expresses your commitment to the future of arts education and the performing arts. Donors can choose to support the Music Director, a Featured Composer, a Division Chair or the teachers of specific instruments.

Classrooms: $35,000-50,000

Our classrooms are used daily by Special Music School students and during evenings and weekends by children and adults at Lucy Moses School.

Naming opportunities are available for donations of $35,000 (small classrooms) and $50,000 (large classrooms). Company recognition includes building signage and listings in Kaufman Center brochures and publications.

Practice Rooms: $25,000

Practice rooms are comfortable spaces where cellists, violinists, pianists and many other musicians take lessons and rehearse for public performances. A named practice room includes building signage and listings in Kaufman Center brochures and publications.

Scholarships Funds: $5,000-25,000

Named Scholarship Funds enable financially disadvantaged children to study music, dance or theater at the Lucy Moses School. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need, commitment and ability.

Qualified scholarship students may participate in all aspects of the Lucy Moses School's educational programming, including the Young Artist Program, a challenging and rigorous music curriculum for serious students at the Lucy Moses School and the Special Music School.

Annual Scholarship Funds are established with an initial contribution of $5,000 to be supplemented with annual contributions of $1,500.

Scholarship Endowment Funds are established with a minimum contribution of $25,000.

Piano: $6,000+

The Kaufman Center is always seeking pianos for educational and performance use. Contribute a new piano to be cherished for generations; your company's name will be displayed on a plaque on the instrument.
