Special Events

The Kaufman Center holds a series of special events annually to benefit the Lucy Moses School, the Special Music School and Merkin Concert Hall, as well as to thank our generous supporters.

Our events include a series of musical evenings and annual benefits like the Annual Scholarship Luncheon and the Kaufman Center Honors Gala.

Musical Evenings

Held in private homes around the city, Musical Evenings include cocktail receptions and intimate performances by world-renowned artists. All proceeds benefit the music program of the Special Music School, which provides conservatory-style training to musically gifted students during the regular school day and is funded entirely by the Kaufman Center.
