Lauded for their “vigorous and enthusiastic approach to music” (The Washington Post), Zephyros Winds has become one of the nation’s leading wind ensembles. They will continue the Merkin Hall season's theme of Re:Invention with works by Claude Debussy, Benjamin Britten, Gyorgy Ligeti, Darius Milhaud, Endre Szervansky and Leos Janacek. The pieces will show off each composer's use of folk music in contemporary forms.

This concert will be held in the newly renovated Merkin Concert Hall.
